Our institute has received a donation of US$ 80,000 by The Chuan Lyu Foundation(美國川流基金會) to initiate The Chuan Lyu Taiwan Literature Writer-in-Residence Project (川流臺灣文學駐校作家計畫).
【美國川流基金會捐贈駐校作家計畫】 臺大臺灣文學研究所接受美國川流基金會(The Chuan Lyu Foundation)捐贈「川流臺灣文學駐校作家計畫」美金8萬元,於12月1日舉行簽約儀式。川流基金會由理事長李華林親自出席,臺大財務長廖珮真、臺大臺灣文學研究所所長張文薰,以及台灣文學學會理事長黃美娥教授代表接受捐贈。 川流基金會長期在海外推動台灣文學文化研究,提升西方社會對台灣文史的認識,促進國際社會對台灣的關注,著具貢獻。李華林理事長為本校藥學系(1957年畢)旅美校友,2007年捐款籌設校史館特展廳,學校為感念其愛校美意及期許校史特展與參觀人潮川流不息,將校史特展廳命名為「川流廳」。 此外,李華林理事長亦贊助設置「臺大人文庫」計畫,於臺大圖書館打造專屬臺大人的典藏空間,亦曾多次捐款藥學系,在校史館建設與藥學研究領域皆挹注經費與心力。本次經台灣文學學會引介,川流基金會將贊助範圍擴及本土台灣文學的創作人才與教學推廣,特在本校設置「川流臺灣文學駐校作家計畫」,並由臺文所負責規劃執行,每年選聘具代表性的年輕作家,結合課程設計,希望能改善台灣文學創作環境,結合學術研究與實踐,豐富台灣人文景觀。 相關連結: 「臺大校訊」:http://host.cc.ntu.edu.tw/sec/schinfo/epaper/article.asp?num=1461&sn=18736 「世界新聞網」:https://www.worldjournal.com/wj/story/121368/5127547
